Reuben Rogers & The Convergency

Reuben Rogers is no stranger to Langnau. He is among the most distinguished bass players in contemporary jazz, known in part for his long-standing work with Charles Lloyd and Joshua Redman. With The Convergency, he makes his debut at the festival as a bandleader, bringing together an exceptional line-up drawn from this year’s workshop faculty. With the exception of the singer and guitarist, these musicians also appear on John Ellis’s latest release and represent remarkable artistic quality as well as extensive teaching experience. For this special occasion, they come together on stage as a unique ensemble.
