Juliane Rickenmann Quartet

For many years, Swiss saxophonist Juliane Rickenmann has been one of the distinctive voices on the Swiss scene. With her quartet and the new album The Happy Side, she presents melodic jazz full of clarity, warmth, and subtle intensity. The ensemble deliberately dispenses with a chordal instrument, giving the two horns ample space, while the rhythm section provides a sensitive and solid foundation.
