KISMET - Dave Holland, Chris Potter, Marcus Gilmore

Important update: Unfortunately, due to a sudden and unexpected medical issue, Kevin Eubanks will not be able to join the band for the tour and therefore KISMET will perform as a trio this summer. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Kevin all the best and, above all, a speedy recovery. 

KISMET is a new quartet around Dave Holland and Chris Potter, uniting four outstanding musicians with a shared history and a clear musical vision. Chris Potter once formed Holland's legendary quintet and Kevin Eubanks is also a long-time companion of the bassist. Marcus Gilmore, one of the most innovative drummers of his generation, brings in influences from projects with Chick Corea and Vijay Iyer. KISMET stands for dynamic exchange, bold improvisations and a sound that combines the jazz tradition with its future potential.
