Experience the vibrant South African jazz scene! This concert takes you on a journey from the roots of the 1950s with artists like Abdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand) and Miriam Makeba to more contemporary voices such as Duke Makasi and Allou April. From traditional pieces to modern tunes – a performance that blends musical protest, dance, and the legacy of international jazz.
There has been a close exchange and sucsessful collaboration with the Swiss Jazz School in Bern for many years.
