Attention young musicians and bands!

Do you play or sing in a band? Do you feel like performing at a Jazz festival? If so, take this opportunity!

We are looking for bands to participate in the 9^th Annual Junior Jazz Meeting in Langnau, Switzerland.

The band will perform on an open-air stage for about 30 minutes. The concerts are part of the «Langnau Jazz Nights» festival, which runs from July 24^th - 28^th, 2012.

Conditions

All band members should be under 26 years old.

The band’s music should have something to do with jazz in some sort of way.

Compensation

Compensation for bands from Switzerland and nearby foreign countries includes

• Accommodation & Catering:
  - 1 night in the youth hostel
  - 1 dinner & drink(s)
  - 1 breakfast
• Concerts:
  Free admission to the main concerts of the «Langnau Jazz Nights» the day of the performance.
• Specials:
  - Evaluation of the band’s performance
  - Feedback-Workshop with a teacher from the “Jazz Workshop”
  - Free entrance to the clinics of the performing musicians
  - Possibility to jam and to practice

Compensation for bands from foreign countries includes

• Contribution to travel expenses
• Accommodation & Catering:
  - 2 nights in the youth hostel
  - 2 dinners & drinks
  - 2 breakfasts
• Concerts:
  - Free admission to the main concerts of the «Langnau Jazz Nights» the day of the performance and the day before or after the performance
• Specials:
  - Evaluation of the band-performance
  - Feedback-Workshop with a teacher of the “Jazz Workshop”
  - Free entrance to the clinics of the performing musicians
  - Possibility to jam and to practice

Equipment

Provided are:

• P.A.
• Drums
• Digital Piano
• Guitar Amplifier
• Bass Amplifier 

The musicians need to bring all other equipment and instruments.
